2018 had been great.
Full with surprises, trials, and lessons that I don't think I can get it elsewhere.
I've cried as much as I've laughed.
I've been broken and I'm still on the mend.
Nevertheless, I've been blessed with - you.
My loved ones either long gone to meet the creator or are in different continents but I'm forever thankful that I was given the opportunity to choose "my own family" - you.
You feel me even when I said nothing.
Those simple texts and phone calls to check if I'm okay.
Those beautiful write-ups of encouragement.
That tagging on silly memes.
Those arms that you've extended to give me a long and warm hug when words fail me.
I know I'm loved.
You mean the world to me.
The greatest lesson that I've learned in 2018 aside from "to leave my hair alone and whatever happened never go for a pixie cut!" was "we thought that we're promised another tomorrow but the truth is, we are not".
Tough one but that was an eye-opener.
Not sure how and when our final goodbye going to be, please know that each and every one of you, have made me smile and laughed.
From the bottom of my heart, I'd love to thank you for that. If I didn't get the chance to return the favor, I hope someday someone will put a smile on your face if not a burst of laughter (or two) that makes your heart beaming with pure happiness.
I wish you enough.
Enough of the bad for you to appreciate the good. Enough of the good for you to get through the bad.
